Using CoPilot to do your dirty work

Here are one-the-ground simple steps to consider when using Epic Hyperspce:

  1. In the patient’s chart, navigate to the Chart Review section

  2. Starting with Notes, sort so that the oldest date is at the top. Select recent notes (up to 100 at once) and print to “Microsoft Print to PDF”, and save somewhere safe

  3. If you think labs and imaging are relevant, repeat that with Labs (using the “Lab Results” view), and Imaging reports.

  4. Try to find a PDF of the form you are to fill out, or scan it.

  5. Upload all to Copilot as attachments

  6. Then just ask Copilot to “Fill out the attached form based on information in the attached medical records which include notes, labs and imaging reports.”
